Goodreads Review

Five Star Goodreads Review

Knowing that Goodreads has a readership audience of nearly 55 million from around the world, I thought it wise to run a book “giveaway” campaign for Countdown to Adam. If I were to attract some readers and receive their reviews, I anticipated comments like: “loved learning about how the Creator planned this Earth just for us humans”, or, “after seeing how much God involved his angels in his various missions of eternity past, I’m excited about what things he might involve me in throughout eternity…Heaven certainly won’t be a boring place.”

My first review was from a Chloe Brown, address unknown. She writes:

“This might just be the single greatest book I’ve ever read” …” it’s so improvised and ridiculous that I can’t even believe what I’m reading” …” the author makes up characters such as an angel called Sophia, although her story plot is often lost…is there even a plot?”…”it’s just kind of like what this guy thinks Heaven and Hell are like, creating characters and books (Twenty Angel Princes)”…”THIS IS BRILLIANT AND MAKES SENSE BYE.”

After reading her review, it was like being told “I love you because your fat, short, and covered with freckles.” I didn’t know whether to feel elated that she would give me five stars, or depressed that she liked the book for all the wrong reasons. However, it did cause me to question why anyone might like or dislike any given book? I should be content knowing that a complete stranger took the time to read the book from cover-to-cover, and then to offer a review.

Thank you, Chloe, I think!
